Cingular (At&T) phone got wet....call for help?

My sony w580i got wet (i dont even mean it was submerged in a toilet or sink, it was placed on a slightly wet table!). Now, it turns on fine, every light works fine, and the screen is perfect, but it's crazy. None of the ons perform their original function and It is in the end impossible to use. When I turn the phone off, the light on the side stays on and is a constant red. I ume this alters the store that I have damaged the phone in some way. I just got this phone a few months ago and based on my plan, I am not eligible for another "upgrade" for 11 months...What are some of my options?
