Ive got a boyfriend overseas that says he's pressured whenever I ask when he's coming home?

My boyfriend's 2 year contract contract ended last September 2008 but he hasnt come home because of flight schedule problems. He told me that he gets pressured whenever I ask him about it. Should I ignore it or reconsider our relationship? Weve been together for almost 10 years (on-off) and both in our mid 30's.
