Congrats for having so much self control! It sounds like he's still mad about being in time out. Try waiting a little longer to talk to him so he's calmer. If he keeps spitting in your face you need to start thinking of harsher punishments. Take his favorite toys or ground him from his next playdate. Tell him how rude that is. You need to get it under control now before he gets older
