Home theater set up in dorm?

Looks good, if you want loud and quality, try looking into Hi-Fi speakers also. These are more traditional, and usually offer a higher efficiency (loudness per unit power) and a broader frequency response. I've built my own, and the sound quality cannot be matched by anything in the stores for under $1500, for significantly less. The subwoofer isn't the best for the price; I used to own it, and it's not worth it at all. Look into the Polk 10" or 12".
